Ways we can work together

I offer a depth-oriented, deeply attentive companioning experience for those seeking grief support that is personal, existentially curious, and held with reverence for the love that doesn’t end at death. Whether you're carrying a new loss, a more mature grief that you've held for years, or the responsibility (and at times, weight) of companioning others, support can be found here.

Grief is unique to the individual experiencing it and the support you want and need gets to be unique too.

Perhaps you want the experience of having your grief held in an ongoing way, weekly sessions serving as an anchor in the unpredictability of loss.

Or maybe you need fewer sessions that go deeper and run longer than the standard 55 minutes.

Or perhaps you are the one holding space for grievers all day and want a space to deepen your skillset and find support for what this work demands of you.

Below are the ways I work.

If you're not sure which is right for you, that's exactly what the free consultation is for.

With care,

Marie

1:1 Grief Companioning Sessions

For bereaved individuals who want ongoing, private support for the long work of grief.

This is the heart of my practice. We meet one-on-one, online, for an hour at a time, as often as you need. There's no curriculum and no timeline. Your grief is held and you are met deeply each session.

This is where the relationship with your person slowly changes from the constant pain of absence to carrying their love in a way that sustains you. Where you feel truly held in your grief, maybe for the first time since the loss. And where aliveness returns in its own time, as life grows large enough to hold both the grief and the living.

Rooted in Dr. Alan Wolfelt's companioning philosophy. Existentially curious when grief takes us there. Held with reverence for the love that doesn't end at death.

Grief Intensives

For those wishing for more depth and time than a single session can offer. Intensives can be booked around an anniversary, a milestone, or a grief that's been carried a long time without enough support.

A grief intensive is an extended, dedicated session, two hours with a small break partway through, designed for concentrated, unhurried time in the territory of your grief. Here, we have more time to go in and stay, to follow a thread until it's been explored more fully, and to come back to the surface slowly and with care.

Held entirely online, paced with intention with space for depth, and space for rest.

Mentorship for Grief Practitioners

For grief coaches, companions, doulas, and others who hold space for loss professionally and need support of their own.

You sit with loss day after day. You're the container for other people's devastation. And usually, you do it while your own grief, personal, cumulative, stirred up by your clients' stories, goes unattended.

This is mentorship and grief support for the person doing the work. A space to tend to what this work demands of you, to recognize the signs of cumulative practitioner grief, to keep your own loss history from quietly bumping into your client care, and to grow your thinking and skillset in ways that deeply support your clients and practice over time.

A place where you're held with the same care you offer everyone else. Sessions are 75 minutes and held online.

Free Consultation

For anyone considering working with me, in any capacity.

Before we begin anything, this is a space to meet and get to know one another a little bit more.

This is a free 30-minute conversation about where you are, what you're looking for, and whether we're the right fit for each other.

No pressure and no commitment, just a chance to feel out whether this is the support you've been looking for.
