April 27th to June 15th

What’s Next: an 8-week intimate group for widows rebuilding after loss.

You’ve survived the worst. And yet…

You’re not in shock and disbelief anymore. Grief isn’t as raw and intense as it used to be. You’ve processed a lot and have come a long way.

Grief is no longer the only thing in the room, but it still shapes the room. You’ve re‑entered life, but you don’t fully recognize yourself in it. Or maybe you feel really different now and you struggle to connect to joy, meaning and fulfilment. You’re aware that more is possible… and very in touch with how short this one precious life truly is.

This group is for that moment. For when you’ve said yes to the life that is still available to you while also being unsure of where to go from here.

Join a small group of like-hearted widows who are all navigating the tender & complex season of rebuilding.

Rebuilding around loss doesn’t mean that grief is no longer present, quite the opposite. It means letting grief clarify what matters most and living in alignment with who you are now.

  • The group invites you to:

    - Restore your sense of agency & choice

    - Integrate this loss into your life

    - Learn from grief in order to live meaningfully

    - Reclaim authorship over your life

    - Carry the love forward always

  • Who this group is for:

    You are a widow who:

    - Is beyond the acute phase of grief

    - Can function, but don’t feel fully alive or oriented yet

    - Feels changed and wants support making sense of that change

    - Is questioning identity, relationships, purpose & desire

    - Feels internal or external pressure about “what’s next”

    - Wants a grief-informed space that honours both love and life

Have a look inside our 8 weeks together

  6. Desire, Loneliness & Re-Partnering: Hold longing without shame and explore what you desire to call in now.

  7. Purpose, Meaning & the Life Still Available: Clarify values, life directions, and how love lives on as a guide.

  8. Integration & Choosing Forward: Closing celebration and honouring your process.

What’s Next is a collaboration between Amelia Bradaric (Adventuring Loss) and Marie Goudreau (Empowered through Grief).

This intimate group is the space that both Amelia and Marie needed but didn’t have when they lost their partners. When they were in that liminal space between longing for what was while attempting to rebuild a new future, there were no grief-specific resources available to walk this complex journey with them.

This is why this group was created.

Amelia Bradaric

REGISTERED THERAPEUTIC COUNSELLOR

Amelia is a licensed counsellor specializing in complicated grief, trauma and post traumatic growth and the clinical director of Adventuring Loss, a virtual therapy clinic supporting people navigating the impacts of grief, trauma & life transitions.

In 2015, Amelia lost her husband to homicide. She learned over time that when people are in pain, they do not need to be fixed or pushed to get better, faster. Grief and trauma are embodied experiences.

Amelia is trauma trained and uses an integrative approach of DBT, IFS, Somatics, mindfulness techniques and client-centered education.

Amelia is a realist who believes in the depth and the resiliency of the human spirit.

CERTIFIED DEATH DOULA & GRIEF COACH

Marie-Claude Goudreau

Marie, is certified as a Death Doula who specializes in companioning the bereaved.

Her approach is based on the assumption that you are the expert of your own grief and her work involves stepping into the wilderness of your grief with you. Slowly, with patient and compassionate guidance, you get to make sense of your experience, to remember your loved one and to find your path forward.

She is the founder of Empowered Through Grief, a coaching practice and community that has been supporting individuals living through all types of life-altering losses since 2020.

But more importantly, she is a human who has known deep loss. Having lost her life partner to cancer, she has an intimate understanding of the struggles widows face and she works every day, to build spaces that bring them together.

Over the last 6 years, Marie has supported hundreds of widows through 1:1 coaching and group experiences. Her work is trauma informed and respectful of your religious & spiritual beliefs.

You didn’t choose any of this but you can decide what happens now. Join us and be guided in thoughtfully thinking about what comes next.

We gather virtually, over zoom, for 8 consecutive weeks.
